Preston’s heritage at risk

English Heritage has published its annual update to its Heritage at Risk register, and the news for Preston is: No Change. No Preston buildings have been added to the list, but sadly none has been removed.

These are the Preston buildings on the list:
Fishergate Hill Conservation Area
St Walburge’s Church
Church of St George the Martyr
Church of St Ignatius, Meadow Street, now known as Syro-Malabar Cathedral of St Alphonsa of the Immaculate Conception

Preston, Harris Institute.

And lastly, and very much in the news recently: the Harris Institute.
