Lea, Henry de (fl. c. 1200), son of Warine de Lancaster, who was granted French lea by Henry II. The grant was confirmed to Henry in 1190 and 1194 and again in 1199 by King John. In 1207, Henry exchanged his manors in Liverpool and Uplitherland with the the king for English Lea, uniting the two Leas. Hewitson says that King John, during the first year of his reign, confirmed the rents of Preston to henry, but does not give a source.
