4 went to Penwortham & to Croston to see Mrs ffleetwood and from there to Augton

5 at Augton Mr Heskeths & at Ormischurch.

6 at Augton, my sister ffleetwood & Madam Hesketh came and dyned there & wee came home my wife was wth mee.

7 at Preston & at prayers dyned at Walles the Whitehorse wth Mr Mayor, Mr Parker Mr Bellingham amd was wth Mr Mayor at his Court of Election, & after at Rigbyes wth Mr Bellingham Mr Johnson & Mr Lemon

8 at Preston & at prayers & at the Court, Mr Mayor, his bayliffs and Serjeants all sworne & took the Oathes of Allegiance & Supremacie, & renounced the League & Covenant was after wth ye Mayor [elect] & at Tirlers wth my brother

9 at Preston Church, heard the Vicar & Mr ffarrand & brought the old Mayor to’s house whitehorse
