Lancashire Biographies Rolls of Honour

The 1917 publication Lancashire Biographies Rolls of Honour contains, as its title makes clear, a number of short biographies of Lancashire worthies, together with the rolls of honour for a number of the county’s colleges and schools. It is not clear what crieria were used to select the biographical entries, but all chosen would appear to be affluent. There are no women.
