Livesey, Ralph

Ralph Livesey, of Livesey Hall, Livesey, near Darwen, was born c1611 and married twice. By his second wife, Anne, daughter of Thomas Clayton of Fulwood, he had several children, including his third, but eldest surviving, son Ralph, born c1657. He enlarged the hall of Livesey in 1666, and died at the age of eighty-four in 1695, having been one of the governors of Blackburn Grammar School since his appointment in December 1630. Ralph, his only surviving son, succeeded. He died in 1725. [1]

He makes a few appearences in the Bellingham/Rawstorne diaries.
