Will Lancashire Archives get your vote?

When you cast your votes in this week’s general election why not cast another vote for Lancashire Archives in another forthcoming election.

Many of you will have reason to be grateful to the ever-helpful and always knowledgeable staff at the archives and they are now looking for your support, as archivist Vicci McCann explained in a recent appeal:

‘Hello all, Lancashire Archives & Local History is very pleased to announce that we have been shortlisted for the Archives & Records Association Excellence Awards in the category of Record Keeping Service of the Year. It would be wonderful if you were able to vote for us – link below – as it would be a real boost for the service. Please also spread far and wide! Voting is now open for the ARA Excellence Awards – you have until 10th July to cast your vote.’

They are up against the Essex Police Museum and the Highlands Archive Service, so pledge your vote for Lancashire here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/8BW5C6Z
