Kitty Marshall: Emmeline Pankhurstโ€™s Fearless Bodyguard

Katherine โ€˜Kittyโ€™ Marshall (1870-1947) was a suffragette who became Emmeline Pankhurstโ€™s bodyguard after training in jujitsu. She was a member of a Lancashire family who had links to the towns and villages around Preston. She married the youngest son of the vicar of Penwortham.
