Veales of Whinney Heyes

A Capt Veale, who features briefly in the diary of Thomas Bellingham, would have been a member of the Veale family of Whinney Heyes, near Poulton-le-Fylde, whose pedigree can be found in Dugdale. [1] Bellingham records meeting Veale on a visit to Poulton on 6 February 1689 and dining at his house on a subsequent visit on 5 June 1689.
